Our Story

At the beginning...

My cousin (and best friend) Lydia gave us her 4 month old American Labradoold, born in Salt Lake City, Utah, when she had to move. We fell so in love with Ella that we almost immediately decided we wanted to have puppies together. As we began to investigate the breed we discovered two very different Labradoodle – the Americans and the Australians. The more research we did the more we concluded that the Australians had been carefully breed for many generations and were the original authentic Labradoodles and the Americans were come-lately first and second generation facsimilies of the originals.
